Hi! I'm Anushka, an out of home baker and founder of Auntie A Bake Shoppe.

 

I love spending my time in a creative element and seeing how the final product comes together. I enjoy food photography and capturing artsy shots. I am passionate about sharing my learnings, whether it be in my professional realm or in my baking world, my life mantra is “live and learn”. I appreciate spending time with my nieces and nephews and learning from them while creating memories!

Professionally, I'm trained in Health Research Methodology with a career in public health (critical care). Baking is my creative outlet and I’m learning as I go. I am beyond grateful to my best friend (RH), my aunts and my grandma for passing down their wisdom and recipes. I am also fortunate to have attended The Bake Fest (2022), and Bake It Happen Summit (2022) and to have become a part of a supportive network of home bakers where we share, mentor, collaborate, and learn together.

Baking for me evokes the feeling of family, home, and love, which is how our slogan came to be: “baking is my art, baking is my love language”. I hope to spread this love and art via the Auntie A Bake Shoppe.
